Prayer for young adults

Father, I have spent too many hours this month in online fights. Some of them looked like they were about truth. Some looked like they were about culture. None of them made me more like Jesus. You are not asking me to be dumb. You are asking me to be free. Help me walk past the arguments that go nowhere. Show me the next fight I am about to join out of habit. Take away the thrill of being right at the top of a thread. The person in front of me deserves love, not a clever comeback. Today I will walk past the useless fight and spend my energy on something You actually asked me to do. Amen.
