Prayer for young adults

Father, You are my portion. Not my job. Not my plans. Not my phone screen at night. You are.

Lamentations 3:24 says, "The Lord is my portion, so I will hope in Him." Help me believe that today.

When the email comes that I did not want, remind me: You are my portion.
When the call I hoped for does not come, remind me: You are my portion.
When the day ends and nothing feels fixed, remind me: You are my portion.

You are the one I am really living for. Let that truth steady me tonight. Let me rest in You, not in how my day went.
