Prayer for young adults

Father, in the Bible four men could not get their friend to Jesus because the crowd was too big. So they broke through the roof and lowered him down. They did not quit.

I have a friend whose life is harder than mine right now. I have been polite. I have sent a text now and then. I have kept things fine. But I have not been like those four men.

Christ, they did not stop at fine. They tore through a roof to get their friend to You.

Spirit, give me a step up in love for this person. Help me make a real visit. Help me stay for a longer talk. Do not let the crowd be my excuse to stay away.

Tearing the roof is what friendship is sometimes for. I will do my part this week.
