Prayer for young adults

Father, in Mark 1:41 Jesus saw a man with leprosy and did not stay far off. He reached out and touched him. He did not have to. He chose to.

Father, there are parts of me I have kept far from You. The shame I carry again and again. The habits I am tired of. The questions I am too embarrassed to say out loud.

Jesus, You did not pull back from the leper. You will not pull back from me. You are not afraid of the parts of me I have tried to hide.

Spirit, help me stop running. I do not need to fix myself before I come to You. Your touch is what makes me clean. Today I bring You the parts I have kept in another room. I stop calling my distance respect. It was fear.
