Prayer for young adults

Father, I come to You tonight with a brain that will not stop. It loops the hard email. It rehearses the answer I should have given. It worries about things I cannot fix. Help me see that thinking it over is not the same as praying it over.

Christ, Isaac went out to a field at evening with no phone and no headphones. He walked. He let the day settle in Your presence. Give me that same quiet tonight. Help me close the apps, step away, and let the day end in You.

Spirit, the rest I need is not something I earn by figuring it out. You give it to people who know when to stop and meet You in the quiet. I will go out to my own quieter field tonight and meet the same God Isaac met.
