Prayer for young adults

Father,

At the pool of Bethesda, a man was healed and did not know who did it. Jesus had already walked away. The healing was real, but the healer was a mystery.

I think I have lived some of that too. The job lead I did not plan. The friend who called the exact week I needed it. The small mercy that showed up on a hard Tuesday and changed the rest of it. I took them and moved on. I called them luck or good timing. I did not stop to thank You for them.

But You were there. You were the one behind them.

So today I want to name some of those kindnesses I never gave You credit for. The help I did not ask for but got anyway. The good thing I thought was just chance. Thank You for each one. Show me where You have been at work in my quiet moments. Help me see that these were not accidents. They were gifts from You.

Find me the way You found that man. Let me know it was You. Then send me out knowing I have not just been helped. I have been loved by name.
