Adoption as Sons Prayer

Father, You sent Your Son to redeem those under the law so that we might receive adoption as sons. That means I am not a project. I am not on trial. I am fully Yours, with the same place in Your family as if I had always belonged there. The status is settled. The earning is finished. Speak that truth into me on the days I feel like I am trying to earn my place. I am Yours by adoption, and the inheritance is secure. Let me live like a son, not like a hopeful applicant still waiting to be chosen. Your Spirit cries Abba in me when I forget who I am. Let me listen to Him. Amen.
