Prayer for teens

Anchors: 1 Peter 5:5

Father, Your Word says You resist the proud but give grace to the humble. Pride at my age does not always look like arrogance. Sometimes it looks like quietly thinking I know better than my parents. Like assuming the teacher is dumb. Like being secretly sure I am right in a fight I have not had yet. Show me my hidden pride. Replace it with real humility. Not hating myself. Just being honest about what I know and what I do not know. Help me see myself the way You see me. Train me in that this fall. There are things I do not know about my own family, my own classes, and my own future. Pretending I do is the kind of pride You resist. Make me teachable. Amen.
