Prayer for teens

Father, in Numbers 2, the tribe of Dan went last. They brought up the rear. Not the spotlight. Not the front. They still mattered. I keep feeling like I am at the back of everyone else's life. Other people peak, post, get attention, and I am back here. Help me believe that bringing up the rear is not failure. The last group still carries the flag. The last group still belongs. Not everyone gets to be first. Most of us are quiet helpers, and that is not a punishment. It is a kind of faithfulness. Let me serve where I am without worrying how it looks. Some of the most needed work is at the back, watching out for the people who would be left behind. Make me good at that. Amen.
