Prayer for teens
Anchors: Numbers 24:13
Father, in Exodus 20 You said not to use tools on the stones of an altar. You wanted them the way You made them, not shaped by human hands. I think about that a lot. I keep trying to bring You the polished version of myself. The one who says the right thing in small group. The one who looks like faith is easy. The one with all the answers ready. But You did not ask for that version. You asked for me. Take the parts I have not fixed yet. The day I am still figuring out. The prayer that does not sound perfect. I am tired of only bringing You what I think is good enough. Today I am bringing the real thing. You knew my story before I tried to edit it. Use the honest me, not the performed me. I would rather be a real stone in Your hands than a polished one that is not really me. Amen.
