Prayer for teens

Father, Psalm 103 says not to forget all the good things You have done. It is evening and I am about to scroll for an hour and forget every single one of them. Before I do, hold me here for a minute. Today there were small mercies. A friend texted back. The day was not as bad as I feared. I ate. I am safe. I made a good choice at least once. Thank You. There were also bad parts I do not want to look at. A thing I said. A thing I would not let myself feel. A half-hour I wasted. I am not going to pretend they did not happen. Forgive me where I need forgiveness. Heal the parts that just hurt. Let me put this day down without grading it like a test. Tomorrow can be its own thing. Tonight is for thanks and for rest. Quiet the part of me that wants to go over this day again and again before I sleep. I am off duty. Amen.
