Prayer for teens

Father, Your Word says I was bought back with the precious blood of Christ, like a lamb without flaw. That price is already paid. So I am not going to sit here and weigh my own worth like a judge. Today I failed in one real way — I avoided a conversation I had agreed to have. I am sorry. I will have that conversation tomorrow before lunch, on purpose, even if it is awkward. Today also held mercies. Somebody laughed at my joke. The sky was unreasonably pink at 6:40. My dad let me have the front seat without a word. Receive what was real. Quiet me into sleep. The morning will arrive on its own. Amen.
