Prayer for teens

Father, I am scared I am going to mess up something important. David once asked You to rescue him from a mess he made himself. I am asking You the same thing. Some of what I am scared of is out of my control. Some of it comes from choices I know I am about to get wrong. Help me get the next one a little less wrong. Tonight that means study for the test instead of doom-spiraling about it. Tomorrow that means take the test, do my honest best, and let the score be information, not a verdict. Whatever happens, I know You will not leave me on the way out of the room. Take the catastrophe out of my head. Give me back the next true small step. Steady me. Amen.
