Prayer for teens

Father, I have been holding onto something my brother said in front of his friends. It has been two weeks and I keep the grudge alive like it is a small pet I feed every night. I did not set the trap, but I am the one walking around inside it now, on purpose. Get me out. I am not pretending his words did not hurt. I am asking You to take the loop. Stop the replay that runs every time the room goes quiet. Show me one small thing this weekend that is the opposite of holding the grudge. Help me pass him the milk without a mean comment. Help me ask about his game like nothing is wrong. Help me leave him alone when he wants quiet. We are brothers, even when we are bad at it. I do not want to carry this anymore. Amen.
