Prayer for teens
Anchors: Joel 2:13, Psalm 51:10
Father, I have drifted. It was not one big choice. It was the small ones I kept making until the direction looked normal. I have not prayed in weeks. The Bible app sits there with a streak I lost. Some habits I used to fight, I have quietly let win. Everything is just sliding together. I am not coming to You with a perfect story. I am coming with an honest U-turn. Turn me. Not just sorry feelings. Not words that lead nowhere. Actual movement. Tonight: phone out of the room when I sleep. Tomorrow: one chapter of the gospel I keep meaning to read. This week: the apology I owe. I am not asking for fireworks. I am asking for the next concrete different step, and the grace to take it. Receive me back. Amen.
