Prayer for new mothers

Father, You said in Isaiah that You have carved my name on the palms of Your hands. That image is so tender it is hard to look at straight on. My name is not on a list. It is not in some file. It is on Your hands, where You cannot miss it. This week I have felt forgotten, not by You, but by everyone else. The house is quiet. No one sees the long nights or the small things I do. But the verse reminds me: You see me every time You move. Let that one truth steady this morning. I am carved into Your hands, not stored away. Amen.
