Prayer for new mothers

Father, in Psalm 119 the writer promised to think deeply about Your words. That sounds like an hour with a Bible open. An hour is what I do not have. A red light is what I have. A microwave timer is what I have. A quiet moment in the shower is what I have. Let me think about You in those small slots. One thing You said. One sentence. The way my eyes keep finding my baby's face in the dark, let my mind keep coming back to one verse all day. That is meditation. That can fit in my morning. Let Your word stay with me through the afternoon. Amen.
