Prayer for grandmothers

Anchors: Mark 9:19

Lord Jesus, in Mark 9 You told the father to bring his son to You. The boy was in a bad way. The helpers had failed. But You still said, bring him. Father, I have people I keep bringing to You. The grandson with the depression. The son with the shaky marriage. The granddaughter whose anxiety has gotten worse. I have brought them many times. I will bring them again. The bringing does not stop because I have done it before. You did not get tired of that father bringing the same boy. You will not get tired of me bringing the same people again this morning. So I am bringing them. By name. The grandson. The son. The granddaughter. The friend whose husband is in hospice. The cousin who is angry at the family. I lay them down at Your feet. I leave them there. Then I pick up the morning and go on with what You have given me today. The bringing is my prayer. The healing is Yours. Amen.
