Prayer for grandmothers
Anchors: John 17:11
Father, holy Father, keep me by Your own name, just as Jesus asked in John 17. He prayed the night before He died, not only for the eleven in the room, but for all who would believe through their word. That means He prayed for me, and He is still praying for me now. Keep me on this quiet morning. Keep me through this day. Your name stands for who You are, and who You are never changes. The disciples were kept through their trials. I have been kept through mine. Jesus asked You to keep us, and I trust that You hear Him. Let me live today like someone who is being kept. Help me notice the small ways You hold me: the temptation that did not pull me down, the talk that turned out better than I planned, the night that ended in sleep. Let me see Your keeping where I can. Let me trust it where I cannot. Jesus prayed it. I believe You are doing it. Amen.
