Prayer for grandmothers

Anchors: Romans 8:34

Father, Your Son died and rose again. Now He sits at Your right hand, praying for me. That means nobody gets to condemn me. Not me, when I am hardest on myself. Not the enemy, with all his accusations. Not even a fellow believer who is right about the Bible but wrong about love. Jesus is the highest court, and His verdict is final. Help me sit in that verdict today. The small failures of yesterday, You already covered them. The hard things I expect today, Jesus is already praying for them. I do not need to keep fighting battles that are already won. So let me get on with this day. There are small kindnesses to do. There are small letters to write. There is small obedience right in front of me. I am not being watched by a critic. I am being watched over by the Son who died for me. Amen.
