Grandmothers
Prayer for grandmothers
Anchors: Psalm 119:25
Father, my soul feels like dust today. Not in a dramatic way. Just heavy. Just tired. The kind of tired that wants the day to be smaller than it is.
But Your word says You can make me alive again. So I am asking. Not by trying to fix myself. By turning to the chapter in front of me and asking Your word to do what it says.
Quicken me. That is what the psalmist asked for. Make me alive again. Not just happy. Alive. The kind of alive that can do what this day asks. The small things. The good things. The things that are right in front of me.
Speak Your word to me this morning. This tired body came from dust. Your word is what makes dust live. Let Your word wake me up before this day is over.
Amen.
