Prayer for dads: Light of the World

Father, Philippians 2:15 says we should shine as lights in a crooked generation. That feels big. So keep it small for me. Not a spotlight. Not a beacon. Just a porch light. A steady glow at one house.

That seems doable. I am not going to change the whole city this week. But I can be steady for the people close to me. The neighbor who knows I will say yes when he needs help. The coworker who notices I do not gossip. My kids, who see a dad who stays calm in traffic.

I do not need to be loud. I just need to stay lit.

Lord Jesus, You are the light of the world. I am asking for just enough of that light for my street. Help me keep it on this week.
