Prayer for dads
Anchors: Numbers 14:2, Philippians 2:14
Father, I have been murmuring. Under my breath about the drive, the work, the weather, the ordinary things in front of me. Each complaint feels small. Stacked up, they show a man who is not happy. Catch me at it. Trade my murmuring for a quieter kind of thanks. Not the loud kind. The kind that notices the sandwich, the seat, the warm light through the kitchen window. Over this week, let me complain less and notice more. By Saturday, let my mouth have changed. Amen.
