Prayer for dads

Father, I want to be a man who asks You every morning. Not because Your answer always changes, but because asking keeps me Yours. I tend to think yesterday's answer is enough for today. Slow me down. Help me ask before I act. Today I need Your wisdom for the meeting at 11, for how to love my wife when I get home, and for whether to bring up the hard thing with my teenager. I already have my own answers ready. I would rather have Yours. So here I am, asking. Then help me act when You answer. Amen.
