Prayer for dads

Father, I think about the king who built ships for gold and watched them break before they ever sailed. I have built a few of those myself. The side project that took a year and never launched. The friendship I thought would grow that quietly faded. The savings plan a medical bill swallowed whole. I do not want to be bitter about broken ships. I want to be honest about why I built them. Was it for You, or was it for me? Where I was chasing gold, forgive me. Where I was just trying to provide, steady me. Either way, do not let a wrecked plan wreck my trust. Help me start the next thing without bracing for the same loss. Amen.
